Although it has long since developed from a niche sport into a mass phenomenon, stand-up paddling (SUP) remains a trend. The 2024 Olympic Games in Paris will bring a breath of fresh air with the premiere of iQFoils in windsurfing and kitefoiling instead of kitesurfing. Foiling is generally gaining importance in more and more water sports disciplines, while surfing on artificial waves inland is becoming increasingly popular. And in winter, many people are now enthusiastic about pond skimming.

Stand-Up-Paddling
A classic. But the days when you could only paddle on SUP boards while standing up are over! With clever gadgets, the boards can be transformed into a sailing SUP, a canoe or even a floating tent in no time at all. This makes stand-up paddling an even more versatile experience and fun for the whole family.

Kitefoiling
First Olympic discipline in which kiteboarders compete on foil boards instead of conventional boards. The demand for kitefoiling will increase after the Games, especially in windy regions.

Wingfoiling
A new trend sport in which surfers stand on a foil board and hold an inflatable sail over their heads, similar to a kite.

iQFoiling
A sub-class of windsurfing that will replace the RS:X class at the Olympic Games from 2024 and is established in various racing formats.

Artificial Surfing
Standing, artificial waves for surfing, far from coastal regions, are experiencing a boom worldwide and offer brands new sponsorship opportunities.

Canoeing
A proven classic that has been modernised with inflatable or foldable canoes.

Pond Skimming
A winter sports trend that is a mixture of water skiing and downhill skiing, where you try to glide over a pool of water.
