The Annabrücke Reservoir is an exceptional phenomenon thanks to its many faces. The Drava River becomes an inland sea with islands, floodplains and lagoon landscapes, secluded bays and Wild West panoramas.

Just a few paddle strokes from Novigrad, Istria's longest river meets the Adriatic Sea in a biodiverse delta, where stand-up paddlers experience a water triumvirate of river, lagoon and sea.

Because there are no longer any ships navigating on this section of the Drava, you can enjoy floodplain landscapes, birdsong and hidden paddling gems in a highly relaxed manner.

The dreamy fishing village is the ideal starting point for a leisurely paddle tour with a sea crossing. A small harbor, small beaches, but a big chunk of playful colours are the ingredients for a few relaxing hours with a view over the Kvarner Bay.

The small island of Sveti Marko is more than just a bridge support on the way to Krk. Circumnavigating it shows paddlers how diverse and lively a supposedly barren landscape can be.

You can paddle into Koper's tourist-free zone along the Badaševica. The navigable part of the small river runs through the southern outskirts of the city and ends at a small waterfall in the green.
